Ventilation: Poke holes in the container lid with a push pin or needle to allow oxygen flow into the container to keep your spring tails alive. Feeding: Provide dry yeast or uncooked rice to nourish your springtails if your intention is to keep you own culture. Watering: keep the charcoal slightly moist to allow the springtails to drink - they need water to survive!. Temperature: Maintain between 50-85°F (10-30°C) for optimal growth and survival. Springtails may be tiny, with some eggs awaiting hatching. Be patient as they develop and thrive in their new environment.
