Dual Scale Brix & Specific Gravity Refractometer
It is very improtant to control the sugar content in brewing or other food indurstry. This refractometer is designed for measuring the suger content and specific gravity of liquids. A brix refractometer that includes a specific gravity scale. You won't have to do conversions between Brix and gravity when doing measuring, you'll get the two index in one time. Best of all, it only requires a few drops of liquid for an accurate reading, no need to lose a whole hydrometer test jar of beer or wine in the process. Brief steps to use a refractometer
- Align the prism assembly with light, adjust the focus adjustment until you can see the scale clearly.
- Calibration: Put 2-3 drops of calibration fluid on the prism, and turn the calibration screw with the screw driver to the target reading.
- Measuring: Clean the prism with soft cloth, and then place 2-3 drops of the liquid sample to be tested on the prism, look into the eyepiece and you can get the result.
