1. Q: Why is my filter making a loud or unusual noise?
- A: There are two possible reasons:
1) The water level may be too low. If the pump chamber is not full, the impeller may run dry and cause noise. Please keep the water level high enough.
2) The impeller may be clogged. Debris can restrict water flow and cause noise. Unplug the filter and clean the impeller if necessary.
2. Q: Do I need to add water to the aquarium regularly?
- A: Water naturally evaporates during normal aquarium use. Keep the water level above the minimum level indicated on the filter to ensure the pump can continue to draw water properly.
3. Q: Why has the water flow become weak?
- A: There are two possible reasons:
1) The impeller may be blocked. Large debris may be stuck around the impeller. Unplug and disassemble the filter, then clean the impeller and pump chamber.
2) The filter cartridge may be full. Excess debris can restrict water flow. Please replace the filter cartridge.
