The MIKE LITE (aka the “Lip Lite”) is a light that mounts to the microphone on your helmet or headset. It is independent of the microphone and is adjustable. It will not interfere with the proper function or noise attenuating properties of the microphone. The switch is momentary on, push on, push off and is activated with your lip or tongue. The MIKE LITE provides the perfect amount of light without side scatter to illuminate cockpit instruments, maps, kneeboards, circuit breakers, or approach plates. Our ML Series is the original Mike Lite designed specifically for the U.S. Armed Forces. Preserves dark adaptation. A generation III product. Has a Push ON - Push OFF switch that can be actuated by the lip or tongue. A slight push on the switch causes momentary light, while a further push keeps the light on until another push turns the light off. (3.0 volts or 4.5 volts, ships with both battery holders). Includes: 1ea. ML-14, 1ea. 1"x1.75" adhesive backed loop velcro, 1ea. BGAA, 1ea. header card with mounting instructions, 2ea. wire ties, 1ea. ML-2-7, 1ea. 5/8"x1/8" adhesive backed hook & loop velcro, 1ea. thumb screw, 2ea. insulating shield.
