New V-Bottom Design
The New V-Bottom Design now has an attached (built-in) rigid high-pressure V-bottom woven drop-stitch floor for lighter weight (4 lbs. lighter than previous), greater rigidity, superior tracking, handling, and paddling performance. The entire length side-chines are more pronounced and track even better than before! This new floor makes packing up the FastTrack quicker, simpler, and less of a chore.
New Daisy Chain Tie-Down Loops
The New Daisy Chain Tie-Down Loops at the bow (front) and stern (rear) provide multiple excellent anchor points for attaching a foot rest and for securing gear.
Removable Rear Center Skeg
A nice feature of this design is that the rear skeg can be removed with the FastTrack inflated or deflated. Simply remove it for whitewater and skinny water adventures (eliminating it as an obstruction) and replace it for flat water to reduce yawing (swinging to the right or left). This increases trackability during long flat-water touring, maximizing efficiency. The optional Bixpy electric motor can also slide into place.
