Made of stainless steel and silicone, the lid has four different functions - based on the control wheel of the iPod. Practical, because depending on the position, liquids can be drained completely or controlled with the lid closed: thanks to the large sieve openings, the cooking water escapes, the pasta remains in the pot. The same works with the small strainer openings for rice. The closed position is intended for low-water cooking and the open to drain liquids fully. The red ring in the lid is a real eye-catcher. Made of heat-resistant silicone, it always sits firmly in the pot. The heat transfer of heat is reduced by the special hollow handles, so they stay cooler for longer. For long cooking times or when using in the oven, pot holders or oven gloves are necessary to open the lid and carry the pot. The pots have an inner scale for easy dosing of liquids and are made from indestructible Cromargan. The TransTherm universal base is also suitable for induction, it transfers the heat from the stove quickly and directly and retains heat for a long time. The series includes various pots, from the frying pan to the steamer insert to the saucepan.
If you like to cook regularly, you need different pots, whereby a few basic shapes have proven themselves for the standard equipment. This combines WMF in different sizes to a diverse selection, whereby meat or stewing pots should not be missing in any set. Everything that needs a lot of liquid for cooking fits in the casserole, as its edge is particularly high, nothing splashes out when frying meat and it also absorbs pasta, potatoes and vegetables without any problems. The stewing pot is a combination of pan and meat pot, the edge is higher than the pan, so hardly any fat splashes out when frying. At the same time, the rim is lower than the meat pot, so that the liquid evaporates faster and you can easily turn the meat/vegetables. Made from easy-care and robust Cromargan, all pots are equipped with a TransTherm universal base and are therefore suitable for all types of cookers including induction.
