Installation must be carried out by a competent person in accordance with UK Building Regulations and IET standards. The fan requires a 230V 50Hz single-phase supply with a 3A fuse and 30mA RCD. Avoid installing near heat sources or where temperatures exceed 40°C.
- Wall installation: Drill a 110mm hole, counter-bore to 160mm depth, and line with a 100mm duct.
- Ceiling installation: Drill a 160mm hole and mount a plywood support (min. 18mm thick) between joists. Use the supplied mounting skirt for surface mounting.
- Electrical setup: Use the sealed grommet for cable entry, ensure free movement of the impeller, and avoid over-tightening duct connections.
