Clairefontaine Stationery, Art & Crafts for School, Office & Home
Paper production is a long tradition for the Meurthe Valley, since the creation of the first paper mills in the 16th century. It is in this convenient environment that Papeteries de Clairefontaine began production in 1858. Taking advantage of the rags supplied by the local textile industry, Clairefontaine will become one of the most important factories in the region in a few years. To complete its offer, the company will begin manufacturing envelopes in 1880 and then follow those of laptops.
Self-taught artist, Isabelle Bouteillet has been an art gallery director for many years. She has developed a technique of illustrative and abstract collages. Clairefontaine wanted to bring her characters to life by showing them in notebooks and accessories, combining the sobriety of her role with the delicacy of her creations. Essentially characters! Colorful, tender, full of spirit, to which the techniques used pay homage: gouache, pastel, acrylic, colored pencil.

The Pollen range was born on a beautiful summer day in 1997. Initially composed of 10 A4 paper colors 120g and 2 envelope sizes. It has developed over the years to better respond to the expectations of all audiences: individuals and professionals. With the success achieved by Clairefontaine Pollen offers today: 45 fashion colors: bright, pastel and iridescent 1128 document references, correspondence cards, ad cards, envelopes.
